Stainless Steel 347H Angles have 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and columbium (niobium) and additional carbon content (0.04–0.10%) for enhanced strength at high temperatures. This alloy has a tensile strength of about 515 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa. SS 347H is resistant to intergranular corrosion, oxidation, and scaling in continuous service up to 870°C. It possesses good mechanical properties in thermal stress and can be used in welded and fabricated parts under long-time heat exposure.
