Stainless Steel 202 Angle is an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese alloy containing about 17–19% chromium, 4–6% nickel, and 7.5–10% manganese. It provides a tensile strength of about 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of about 275 MPa. SS 202 has good formability and toughness, with an average corrosion resistance, especially in indoor and mildly corrosive conditions. It is an economical substitute for SS 304, mainly in applications where extreme corrosion resistance is not a major priority.
