Aluminium 1100 Foils are made up of Aluminium (at least 99.0%), with small amounts of Copper (up to 0.05–0.20%), Iron, Silicon, and Zinc. This grade of commercially pure aluminium boasts excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, and high thermal and electrical conductivity. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 90–130 MPa, yield strength between 30–80 MPa (depending on the temper), and an elongation of 20–30%, making it ideal for deep drawing, wrapping, and various forming processes.
