Stainless Steel 301 Angle is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that contains about 16–18% chromium and 6–8% nickel. It is characterized by very high tensile strength in the range of 620–950 MPa depending on temper and a yield strength of about 275 MPa. The alloy has a good corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive environments and has excellent mechanical properties, especially after cold working, which greatly enhances its hardness and strength.
