Stainless Steel 316H Angle is a high-carbon version of the 316 grade, which contains around 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and with a higher content of carbon (0.04–0.10%). The higher carbon content helps in providing better high-temperature strength and creep resistance, allowing it to be used for high-temperature applications. It provides tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and superior toughness even at elevated operating temperatures. It also shows good corrosion and oxidation resistance in chloride environments as well as in acid-containing environments.
