Stainless Steel 321H Angles have 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and a slightly higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) than regular 321, with titanium added for stabilization. This alloy has a very good resistance against intergranular corrosion and scaling at elevated temperatures. SS 321H possesses tensile strength of about 515 MPa and yield strength of around 205 MPa with good toughness even in cryogenic service. It also resists oxidation in up to 900°C temperature, which makes it fit for high-temperature application and thermal cycling.
