**Stainless Steel 316 Channel** is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with an approximately 16–18% content of chromium, 10–14% of nickel, and 2–3% of molybdenum. Molybdenum addition greatly enhances pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, particularly in environments that are rich in chloride. It provides tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. The alloy also possesses good formability, weldability, and mechanical strength with stability in a large temperature range.
