Stainless Steel 420 Channel is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel with the composition 12–14% chromium and 0.15% max carbon. When heat-treated, it possesses excellent hardness and wear resistance, tensile strength usually between 650 and 850 MPa, and yield strength around 345 MPa.
