316Ti Channel Stainless Steel is an austenitic stainless steel containing 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and addition of titanium at least five times the carbon. The addition of titanium improves the resistance to corrosion intergranular and enabling the use of the material at higher temperatures. It provides tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 30–40%. The alloy has great resistance against oxidation and chloride-induced corrosion with good stability against thermal stress.
