Stainless Steel 304H Channel is an additional carbon version of SS 304 made of iron, 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and 0.04–0.10% carbon. The higher carbon content provides strength at high temperatures while supporting superior corrosion resistance. It provides a tensile strength of around 585 MPa and a yield strength of 240 MPa. SS 304H is good in ductility, toughness, and weldability and is particularly used for service at high temperature in structural and pressure vessels.
