Stainless Steel 304L Channel is an austenitic alloy that consists of iron, 18–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and a maximum of 0.03% carbon content. The less carbon content reduces carbide precipitation on welding and thus is suitable for welded structures. It ensures good corrosion resistance, particularly in oxidizing media, with tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa and yield strength of 170 MPa. SS 304L is also highly tough, weldable, and resistant to intergranular corrosion and retains strength and stability at different temperatures.
