SA516 Gr 60–70 Dual TC Plates are a type of carbon steel pressure vessel plate that cleverly combines the chemical and mechanical properties of both Gr 60 and Gr 70. Typically, these plates contain carbon (0.21–0.28%), manganese (0.85–1.20%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), and sulfur (≤0.035%). Gr 60 plates provide a tensile strength ranging from 415 to 550 MPa, while Gr 70 plates offer a stronger range of 485 to 620 MPa. The yield strength varies from 260 MPa for Gr 60 to 275 MPa for Gr 70. Additionally, these plates are known for their excellent weldability, notch toughness, and impact resistance, making them perfect for high-pressure applications in tough environments.
