316Ti Stainless Steel Foil is a titanium-stabilized version of 316 stainless steel and consists of about 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and the addition of titanium to improve resistance to intergranular corrosion. It has a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and very good oxidation resistance at high temperatures. The titanium also prevents carbide precipitation when welding, making it more durable and stronger in hot-heat applications without losing corrosion resistance.
