Haynes 188 Sheet and Plate is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-iron alloy with a composition of around 62% cobalt, 22% nickel, 13% chromium, and trace amounts of iron and molybdenum. This alloy exhibits excellent resistance to carburization, oxidation, and thermal fatigue up to 980°C. The alloy exhibits a tensile strength of approximately 860 MPa and good ductility and weldability. Produced as per the specifications of ASTM B637 and AMS 5663, Varun’s Haynes 188 plates and sheets are available in different dimensions and gauges and are suitable for severe high-temperature applications.
