Nickel Alloy 201 Plates and Sheets consist mostly of nickel (min 99%), and minor levels of iron (max 0.40%), manganese, silicon, and copper. Low carbon levels are present (max 0.015%). This alloy has a tensile strength of approximately 310 MPa and yield strength of 105 MPa with superior ductility and toughness. Low carbon content improves weldability as well as resistance to sensitization. Nickel Alloy 201 has superior corrosion resistance to alkalis, organic acids, and oxidizing conditions, and good thermal and electrical conductivity.
