The alloy provides a tensile strength of around 340 MPa and yield strength of 105 MPa, with excellent toughness and ductility even at cryogenic temperatures. Nickel 200 has superior resistance to dry gases, neutral or alkaline salt solutions, and caustic alkalis. It possesses fine thermal and electrical conductivity, good magnetostrictive properties, and low gas content, making it versatile for various critical applications.
