Stainless Steel EN 1.4513 consists of about 17–18% Chromium and 1–2% Molybdenum, along with trace elements of Nickel, Carbon, Silicon, and Manganese. This ferritic alloy boasts excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and oxidation. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 430–630 MPa, a yield strength of around 260 MPa, and an elongation of 20%. The Brinell hardness typically falls between 150 and 200 HB. The steel is also known for its good weldability and moderate formability, making it a great choice for applications that require both strength and corrosion resistance in mildly aggressive environments.
