Stainless Steel 409 Coil/Slitting Coil is a ferritic stainless steel that contains around 10.5–11.75% chromium and a maximum of 0.08% carbon, with titanium added to improve weldability and corrosion resistance. It boasts moderate mechanical properties, featuring a tensile strength of 380–450 MPa and a yield strength of 170–230 MPa. This steel is magnetic, easily formable, and shows excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation.
