Nickel Alloy 200 Channels contain a minimum of 99.6% nickel with negligible quantities of iron (max 0.40%), manganese, carbon, and silicon. This composition provides a tensile strength of about 340 MPa and a yield strength close to 105 MPa. The alloy has great resistance to caustic alkali corrosion, dry gases corrosion, and corrosion by neutral or alkaline salt solutions, as well as high thermal and electrical conductivity. It also has great ductility and toughness at cryogenic temperatures and is good at weldability and formability.
