These alloys boast solid mechanical properties, featuring a tensile strength ranging from 450–650 MPa and a yield strength of 275–450 MPa. SS 410 offers hardness and wear resistance after heat treatment, while SS 410S is known for its superior weldability and reduced risk of cracking related to hardening. Both grades provide moderate corrosion resistance and excellent scaling resistance in mild atmospheres up to 650°C.
