Maraging Steel Sheets and Plates are usually produced from low-carbon iron-nickel alloys with 18–20% nickel content along with cobalt, molybdenum, and titanium. Typical grades are Maraging 250, 300, and 350. These steels are strengthened by age-hardening instead of carbon, providing tensile strength between 1,700 and 2,400 MPa and superior ductility and fracture toughness. Maraging steel can be readily machined in the annealed condition and is amenable to heat treatment. Varun exports maraging steel plates to AMS 6512, ASTM A538, and other aerospace and defense standards.
