These foils boast impressive mechanical properties, with tensile strength reaching up to 690 MPa and yield strength around 275–310 MPa, depending on the specific grade. Hastelloy maintains its structural integrity even in highly corrosive environments, including those with hydrochloric, sulfuric, and nitric acids. With excellent thermal stability and flexibility, these foils can be rolled to ultra-thin dimensions while still retaining their strength and corrosion resistance under extreme pressure and temperature.
