Aluminium 2014 Circles mainly consist of aluminum mixed with 3.9–5.0% copper, 0.2–1.2% manganese, 0.2–0.8% silicon, along with small amounts of magnesium and iron. This high-strength, heat-treatable alloy is known for its excellent machinability and boasts a tensile strength ranging from 400–500 MPa, with a yield strength of about 250–450 MPa depending on the temper. While it may not resist corrosion as well as some other grades, it excels in fatigue resistance and mechanical performance under stress, making it ideal for applications that require both precision and strength.
