This non-heat-treatable alloy is celebrated for its superb workability, as well as its electrical and thermal conductivity, and resistance to corrosion. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 70 to 120 MPa, yield strength between 30 and 70 MPa, and elongation of up to 35%, depending on the temper. These characteristics make 1060 perfect for processes like deep drawing, spinning, and bending.
